How We Handle Your Files

PDFably offers two types of tools: client-side tools that process files entirely within your browser (such as Merge PDF, Split PDF, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, Remove Pages, Rotate PDF, Edit PDF, and Sign PDF), and server-based tools that process files on our secure servers (such as Compress PDF, Word/Excel/PPT conversions, OCR, Protect PDF, and others).

Server-Based Processing

For server-based tools, your files are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS connections, processed on isolated secure servers, and the result is sent back to you. We use industry-standard TLS encryption to protect your data in transit. We do not share your files with any third party, do not analyze their content, and do not use them to train AI models.

Client-Side Processing

For client-side tools, all processing happens entirely within your browser. Your files never leave your device when using these tools.

No Personal Data Collection

We do not require registration, login, or any personal information to use our tools. We do not collect names, emails, or any identifying data unless you voluntarily provide them via our contact form.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand general usage patterns. No personally identifiable data is tracked.

Cookies

PDFably uses minimal cookies only for basic site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies for our own purposes.

Third-Party Services

We display advertisements through third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense). These services may use their own cookies and tracking technologies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
